Guwahati, 14 July, 2022: Have you ever witnessed this in your real life? A passionate ground team from the Indian Social Responsibility Network has been regularly going to the far flung pockets of Nagaland and Meghalaya to provide vaccinations for all. While most of the areas are untouched due to lack of proper transport facilities, and influencing prejudices, the ISRN team has never stopped to reach the unreachable over the period of time. As said "We never felt tired. We always feel passionate about ensuring vaccinations for all. You can't imagine how difficult the roads are, but as you know, it doesn't matter for us. We want to prevent the Covid-19 at any cost..”, Dipushira, one of the ground team member, shared his words.

There is a huge difference between getting the Covid-19 vaccine in a cosmopolitan city and specially in a far-flung village in our country. When we think about getting the booster dose to prevent Covid-19, most of the population from Nagaland and Meghalaya are still in need of the first dose. Since the Indian Social Responsibility Network has been continuously reaching the most interior pockets of these areas, and has successfully vaccinated 1 lakh+ population irrespective of gender, cast, age and religion.

Through their work of dedication, ISRN has proven that no barriers can stop them but instead can lead towards a pathway of success. It has informed that ground team has been continuously mobilizing the community, conducting awareness campaigns to break prejudices. Most importantly, interacting with a large number of religious leaders, local influencers and many others to motivate the locals to get a vaccine to prevent Covid-19.

Apart from health interventions, the Indian Social Responsibility Network has also been working on the education sector and agriculture-based model to reach the most untouched population of the country.
