Nagaland is one of the beneficiaries among several states to receive new ambulances from National Headquarters (NHQ), Indian Red Cross and International Federation of Red Cross (IFRC).
Ambulances (BLSA) provide basic life support for rendering humanitarian services and are equipped with facilities for administering oxygen, suction machines, IV fluids, air conditioning and more. In addition, qualified nursing services are employed to meet the urgent needs of patients.
